Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc

Region: Loire

Country: France

Volume: 750ml

Meet a lively Sauvignon Blanc straight from the clay and limestone soils of the Loire Valley. The vines, ranging from 10 to 60 years old, are looked after with sustainable care.

The winemaking kicks off with a gentle grape pressing, followed by a 48-hour settling (débourbage). Thanks to native yeasts, the grape must ferments naturally. It then hangs out in tanks with its fine lees for about six months. No heavy filtering or fining here, just keeping it real.

The wine bursts with fresh grass, lemon verbena, and exotic fruit flavors. It's a hit with Sauvignon Blanc fans everywhere. Whether you sip it solo or pair it with goat cheese, this bottle captures the essence of the Loire Valley. Enjoy the taste journey!

About Winemaker

Gaspard

Meet Gaspard, one of the special house labels at Jenny & François importer. These wines are the result of our unique collaboration with handpicked winemakers from France and beyond. Jenny's thrilled to offer you wines that are not only eco-friendly and budget-friendly but also incredibly tasty. These Loire Valley gems definitely hit the mark!

Gaspard wines feature the classic grape varieties of the region, from the spicy Cabernet Franc and zesty Sauvignon Blanc to the ever-popular Chenin. Sourced from sustainably or organically farmed vineyards across the Loire Valley, these grapes are fermented with native yeast, aged on their fine lees for a few months, and lightly filtered and fined before bottling.

Adding a touch of whimsy, the labels are designed by a talented Parisian artist Jenny met in the city. And why "Gaspard"? Well, it's a classic French boy’s name meaning "bringer of treasure" – the perfect name for these delightful, easy-drinking wines that are true treasures in every sip. Cheers
