Varietal: Melon de Bourgogne and Sémillon

Region: Western Loire Valley

Country: France

Volume: 750ml

Meet Marc's latest creation, a wine that's as cheeky as it is delicious! Made from Melon de Bourgogne grapes (and sometimes a sneaky bit of Sémillon), this wine hails from some seriously cool spots. The Melon grapes come from Marc's own young vines chilling on schist soil (they're under 10, so they're still figuring things out). Meanwhile, the Sémillon is sourced from a biodynamic vineyard in Lestignac – talk about a fancy friend!

Now, onto the making-of magic. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted – because Marc believes in quality, not just quantity. They then get a slow, gentle squeeze for 12-18 hours, kinda like a spa day but for grapes. This helps pull out all those yummy aromas from the skins. After that, the wine decides to ferment spontaneously – no additives, just pure grape rebellion!

By November, after lounging in tanks for a couple of months, this wine is ready for its big debut. Bottled unfined and unfiltered (because Marc likes it au naturel), a tiny pinch of sulfur joins the party to keep things stable.

Personality-wise, this wine is a real "primeur" – it's fresh, fruity, and oh-so-quenching, thanks to its short aging. Think of it as the ultimate thirst-quencher, perfect for any occasion where fun is on the menu!

So, grab a glass of Marc's Melon Mayhem and let the good times roll!

Sip on this! It's good for you because...
