Introducing Zsolti, the winemaker’s crowd-pleasing everyday red wine, Fred. This non-vintage blend showcases the best of his region with a mix of Alibernet for structure, Dunaj for fruity notes, and Portugieser for a refreshing touch.

Crafted from a blend of Alibernet, Dunaj, and Portugieser, each release varies in proportion. The grapes are sourced from organically farmed vineyards with diverse soils including clay loam, limestone, and marine sediments, all meticulously tended by Zsolti himself.

In the cellar, grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and fermented in open casks with regular gentle hand stirring. Each variety is aged separately in old oak barrels. Using only native yeast, Fred is blended and bottled by gravity under a crown cap to maintain its vibrant freshness. With no fining, filtering, or added sulfur, it's a true expression of natural winemaking.

Fred’s personality is described as funky and earthy with a burst of fresh fruit, making it incredibly congenial. As Zsolti puts it, the "F" in Fred stands for "friendly, fresh, but also f* good red", and he’s spot on in every sense. Experience the charm of Fred, a red wine that's as versatile as it is delicious.
