Langhe Favorita La Frea
Langhe Favorita La Frea
Varietal:
Region: Piedmont
Country: Italy
Volume: 750ml
Yellow flowers, hints of orange, and refreshing minty herbal notes mingle with a distinct salty minerality. The palate is gentle, crisp, and airy, revealing layers of elderflower, citrus, zesty lemon-lime spritz, and a touch of saline. Although made from Vermentino grapes, in the Lange region, it's known as Favorita. The cool climate lends plenty of herbaceous and mineral character to the wine. Fermented naturally in stainless steel with native yeasts, then aged in cement, it achieves natural clarity and complexity. Fausto and Cinzia Cellario, third-generation winemakers, champion indigenous Piemontese grape varieties and uphold traditional vineyard and cellar practices.
