The Mary Taylor 'Oliver Gessler' Côtes de Gascogne Blanc transports you to the heart of France’s Gascogne region with its vibrant, aromatic profile. This crisp and refreshing white blend showcases the best of local varietals, featuring bright citrus notes, green apple, and tropical fruit flavors, all balanced with floral and mineral undertones. Its light, tart body finishes with a clean, zesty touch, making it perfect for pairing with seafood, light salads, or simply sipping as an aperitif.
This wine is crafted from a blend of Colombard (50%), Ugni Blanc (30%), Gros Manseng (15%), and Sauvignon Blanc (5%), grown in the sunny and breezy terroir of Southwest France. The vineyard practices sustainable farming and is in conversion to organic certification, ensuring a conscientious approach to winemaking.
IGP Côtes de Gascogne shares the same land surface as Armagnac, in the beautiful French Southwest. The Gessler family settled here, in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, in 1928. We are now on the 4th generation – a robust family business with 20 full time employees. This is one of the more thoughtfully farmed properties – registered HVE 3 and in organic conversion. They tend to indigenous varietals such as Colombard, Ugni Blanc, and Gros Manseng, from which this wine is made.
