Winemaker,Jean-Marie, makes this wine for “those who don’t have a pool” as a substitute refreshment; the label with a “Suntanned Little Pig” is his very own drawing.

Grapes, harvested at peak ripeness, are immediately destemmed and gently crushed. The juice undergoes fermentation with neutral yeast at a controlled temperature. After 36 hours, the skins are removed, imparting the rosé with its vibrant pink hue. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks housed in a partially buried cellar, ensuring natural temperature regulation. Prior to bottling on-site, the wine undergoes light filtering, fining, and a minimal sulfur addition.

Tasting Note: This vibrant pink rosé exudes deep aromas of ultra-ripe crushed red cherries, hints of guava paste, overripe fig, and a subtle smokiness of sweet herbs. The palate offers flavors of blood orange and red berries.

Pairing: Enjoy this versatile rosé on its own or with a variety of summer dishes, including spicy couscous, lamb tagine, flame-grilled chicken, spicy lamb or beef kebabs, and sweet barbecued pork dishes.

Sip on this! It's good for you because...

About Winemaker

Domaine Rimbert

Domaine Rimbert, nestled in Berlou, Saint Chinian, is a 24-hectare estate owned and led by Jean-Marie Rimbert. Specializing in organic viticulture with Ecocert certification for domaine wines and HVE for purchased grapes, the vineyards feature schist and limestone soils and cultivate Carignan, Cinsault, Syrah, and Grenache.

Founded in 1996, the domaine annually produces approximately 80,000 bottles, complemented by 60,000 bottles from its négoce business. Jean-Marie's wines are known for their fruit-forward and fresh characteristics, achieved through gentle grape extraction and natural winemaking practices.

With a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, Domaine Rimbert showcases unique terroir-driven wines, including flagship offerings like Travers de Marceau and Mas au Schiste. Emphasizing finesse over body, the wines are lightly aged, fined, and sulfured, reflecting a cleaner wine style.

In addition to estate-grown wines, Rimbert's négoce business produces approachable wines from sustainably farmed grapes, with a vision to transition growers to organic practices. Committed to authenticity and tradition, Domaine Rimbert continues to innovate and produce exceptional wines that resonate with the essence of Southern France.
