The Vilmart & Cie Grande Réserve Brut is an exquisite expression of Champagne that marries finesse with complexity. Hailing from the heart of the Montagne de Reims, this cuvée is crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, reflecting the dedication to quality that defines Vilmart & Cie.

The bouquet opens with enticing aromas of orchard fruits—think golden apple and ripe pear—interwoven with delicate notes of brioche, white flowers, and a touch of hazelnut. On the palate, it’s vibrant and beautifully structured, with fine bubbles and a lively acidity that bring a refreshing energy to every sip. A subtle minerality underpins the fruit, while hints of almond and citrus zest lend layers to the finish, creating a Champagne that is at once bold and graceful.

Ideal as an apéritif, this Champagne pairs wonderfully with oysters, lobster, or creamy Brie. For a surprising pairing, try it with lightly seasoned Korean seafood pancakes (haemul pajeon) or sushi—it complements the delicate flavors and adds an effervescent brightness that enhances each bite. A Champagne of remarkable quality, perfect for celebrations or an elegant evening toast.

"Vivid acidity creates a mouthwatering frame for the white raspberry, blood orange, salted Marcona almond and star anise flavors carried on the lightly chalky mousse of this sleek and focused Champagne. Lightly briny and lingering on the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged July 2023. Drink now through 2029. 750 cases imported."

"A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, the latest rendition of Vilmart's NV Brut Premier Cru Grande Réserve reveals a pure, delicate bouquet of pear, white flowers, confit citrus and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, pure, precise and seamless, it has a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a crystalline texture that paves the way to a long, mouthwatering and ethereal finish. Based on the 2021 vintage complemented with 2020 and 2019, it includes 50% vins de réserve and was vinified and matured for 10 months."
